Spiers Peonies is based on a watercolour and pencil drawing with rich pink blooms and green leaves that was originally designed for wallpaper, at the end of the 19th century. The pattern was created by designer and landscape painter Charlotte Horne Spiers, a Victorian artist celebrated for her beautiful floral illustrations.
