Spiers Chrysanthemums is based on a watercolour and pencil drawing of white flowers that was originally designed for wallpaper at the end of the 19th century. The pattern was created by designer and landscape painter Charlotte Horne Spiers, a Victorian artist celebrated for her beautiful floral illustrations.
