A remarkable drawing of a fowl skeleton by George Stubbs. Famous for his revolutionary paintings of animals, his artwork was inspired by his rigorous investigations of their anatomies. 'Fowl Skeleton: Lateral View' is taken from his last piece of work 'A Comparative Anatomical Exposition of the Human Body with that of a Tiger and Common Fowl', 1804-06.
