Spearheaded by creative Sophie Finch, Finch Interiors differs from the usual interior design agencies. Innovative and original, the brand ethos strives to design ‘spaces that people talk about' and by judging from their past projects, we’d say they are doing exactly that!

Initially set up when Sophie had a chance meeting with the co-owner of The Breakfast Club restaurants, now with 7 restaurants from the chain under her belt, Finch Interiors is an interiors force to be reckoned with.

Keen to never repeat inspiration, Finch Interiors avoid referencing other peoples’ work. Instead, forming close working relationships with each client provides a source of endless inspiration. As demonstrated in The Common Room project, the client Harry exuded personality and humour. Nick Finch, Marketing Director explains ‘it was evident at the very first meeting that this bar was going to be slightly eccentric’. Inspiring the design scheme from the beginning, Sophie and Nick wanted to give Harry ‘a space that felt like an extension of his personality. Somewhere that he could call home.’ 

From exploring the local area, it became clear that the need for something different was at an all-time high. Aiming to appeal to the young and cool crowd, the quirky and unique character to the space certainly creates a statement space.

When you visit the bar it's a bit like opening Pandora’s Box - you never know what delight will greet you next. 

Venture upstairs to ‘Hef’s bar’ and find some of our Slim Aarons swimming beauties. Adorned on the ceiling and covering the walls, these cheeky beach babes revel in the playful ‘tongue in cheek’ attitude.

Mix in an arrangement of eccentric (and somewhat bizarre) accessories, such as a stuffed camel, handmade lightboxes, porcelain monkey heads along with various trinkets and you have the hottest new bar in Bath. 

We absolutely love the finished look and with a Restaurant and Bar Design nomination for the project we are convinced that they have achieved the aim to create spaces that people talk about.
